Can't believe it's just about Memorial Day. Time really flies huh? Gosh my birthday will be in 9 days. Damn didn't I just have one of those last year? The weather is absolutely miserable here as in a lot of places. We are supposed to have thunderstorms into next week, some could be severe. I hope it doesn't storm this afternoon as my sis and I are traveling 20 miles to the cemetary to put flowers on our relatives graves for Memorial Day. We thought today would be the best day to go as she has to work the weekend. They are going camping at the lake but if it storms their plans will probably be ruined. I don't know what it is but it seems anymore when Memorial weekend rolls around, we usually get rain or storms and I am getting sick of it! I took the dogs out for their walk this morning and it was raining so I had to wear my rain jacket and pull up the hood so I wouldn't get all wet.
I saw on the news yesterday where a huge tornado hit Weld County in Colorado. I thought that sounded familiar and they said Greeley and I thought,"OH my god. I have some family there." I was also born there. I sure hope my family is ok. That tornado was a big one!! There were also numerous tornadoes hit Kansas yesterday. We were in a tornado watch all night until 5 this morning. Thank god we didn't get any severe weather but we got rain and it's so gloomy and humid out. Will probably storm tonight. Well I hope you will all have a safe holiday and the weather will be at least half way decent for you to enjoy it.

For the last company picnic, management decided that, due to liability issues, we could have alcohol, but only one (1) drink per person.

1 tub of Hagen-Daaz ice cream with chocolate chips

Dinner
4 glasses of wine (red or white)
2 loaves garlic bread
1 family size supreme pizza
3 Snickers Bars

Late Night Snack
1 whole Sarah Lee cheesecake (eaten directly from the freezer)

Remember: Stressed spelled backward is desserts. Ray gave me a little pillow one year for Christmas that said exactly that.

Have a great day everyone. It is a gorgeous day here. Graduation was yesterday and they had a beautiful day for it. It just seems awfully early for graduation this year. We never got out of school till around the end of May and we weren't always out for everything like they are now. I think they are out of school more than they are in. I need another cup of coffee and then I need to color my hair. I am supposed to go to jury duty tomorrow. I really hope I don't have to even go, or if I do, I hope I don't get picked. I really dread the thought. We have to call tonight after 6pm to see if we have to go tomorrow. I really hope they settle it out of court so we don't have to.
I hear they had an NRA Convention in Louisville, Ky. this weekend. I guess Ray's ex and her ole' man were going. Just what the world needs, a couple more gun totin' crazies. Let me tell ya, this one is psycho!!!!
