Apple-Carrot Horse Muffins

Ingredients:

2 carrots,shredded
1 apple,shredded
1/3 c molasses
3/4 c flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c water
3/4 c bran
3/4 c oatmeal

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix carrots and apples in a bowl with other ingredients listed above. Add more bran if needed. It should be doughy and thick. Scoop dough into a well-greased muffin tin. Sprinkle each muffin with brown sugar and bake in the oven for 30-50 minutes until well cooked.

Apple Doggie Bites
Ingredients:

1 package apple, dried
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon parsley 1 Tablespoon Celery salt Powder
1 cup cold water
1/2 cup Olive Oil
5 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered milk
2 eggs

Preparation:

Put the apples in a food processor so that pieces are small. Combine in a bowl all of the ingredients. Add oil or water if dough is too dry. Using a rolling pin to roll out dough to about 3/16" thick. Using a cookie cutter, cut into shapes and place on cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for approx 20 -25 minutes until golden brown.

I was just listening to the news tonight and they were talking about the damage estimates from the ice storm we had in Dec. They said for our town the damage was over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. We lost 42 trees and had other damage here as well. We are getting the town cleaned up once again. The city crews have been picking up limbs and debris and people are starting to get their properties back in order. I know I spent all day this last Sunday mowing the yard and getting it all cleaned up. The weather has been pretty nice, a little muggy but nice. We are having some rain tonight. They say a cold front is moving through so we are also in a severe thunderstorm watch until 1:00 A.M. I don't really know any news. Been busy around here and haven't been on the computer a whole lot. I will try and get comments answered soon. I'm gonna go to bed in a bit. I gotta go to the courthouse tomorrow and pay taxes and run a few errands. Maybe I'll get around tomorrow. Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.

Good morning everyone. Care to share a cup of coffee with me and Maxine? Boy it looks crappy out. In the forecast, we are supposed to have thunderstorms today, tomorrow and Wednesday and rain Thursday.Yuck!! I sure hope they are wrong. I hate storms. I mowed the lawn yesterday and spent practically all day working out in the yard getting it all cleaned up so it probably will rain. Never fails. When you mow or wash your car, it rains. What's up with that?

Gosh it is hard to believe that it will soon be graduation time and them Memorial day and then my birthday. Time goes by quickly doesn't it? Seems when you're a kid, the time goes so slow and you're wanting to grow up so fast and then when you get older, the time goes so quickly and it's like"Slow Down." Do any of you have any exciting plans for the summer? Going on vacation? With the price of gas the way it is, don't think too many people can afford to go too far. This is ridiculous and the prices at the grocery store are too.

Good morning all. Thought I'd leave you with a joke this morning. I am getting ready to go to the store and then I need to get my lawn mowed today. It's lookin' kinda bad. Was gonna do it yesterday but didn't get around to doin' it. Was kinda lazy yesterday and since they are calling for storms for about 3 days this week, I better get it done. Will try and make my rounds later if I can. Sound like a doctor huh....makin' my rounds? Anyway, here's the joke.

One night a man and a woman are both at a bar knocking back a few beers. They start talking and come to realize that they're both doctors. After about an hour, the man says to the woman, "Hey. How about if we sleep together tonight. No strings attached. It'll just be one night of fun." The woman doctor agrees to it.

So they go back to her place and he goes in the bedroom. She goes in the bathroom and starts scrubbing up like she's about to go into the operating room. She scrubs for a good 10 minutes. Finally she goes in the bedroom and they have sex for an hour or so.

Afterwards, the man says to the woman, "You're a surgeon, aren't you?" "Yeah, how did you know?" The man says, "I could tell by the way you scrubbed up before we started." "Oh, that makes sense", says the woman. " You're an anesthesiologist aren't you?" "Yeah", says the man , a bit surprised. "How did you know?" The woman answers, "Because I didn't feel a thing."
