One day at a busy airport, the passengers on a commercial airliner are seated waiting for the pilot to show up so they can get under way.

The pilot and copilot finally appear in the rear of the plane and begin walking up to the cockpit through the center aisle. Both appear to be blind; the pilot is using a white cane, bumping into passengers right and left as he stumbles down the aisle. The copilot is using a guide dog. Both have their eyes covered with sunglasses.

At first, the passengers do not react thinking that it must be some sort of practical joke. After a few minutes though, the engines start revving, and the airplane begins moving down the runway.

The passengers look at each other with some uneasiness. They start whispering among themselves and look desperately to the stewardesses for reassurance.

Yet, the plane starts accelerating rapidly, and people begin panicking. Some passengers are praying, and as the plane gets closer and closer to the end of the runway, the voices are becoming more and more hysterical.

When the plane has less than twenty feet of runway left, there is a sudden change in the pitch of the shouts as everyone screams at once. At the very last moment, the plane lifts off and is airborne.

Up in the cockpit, the copilot breathes a sigh of relief and tells the pilot: "You know, one of these days the passengers aren't going to scream, and we aren't going to know when to take off!"

Did anyone watch the Biggest Loser Finale tonight? It was so good! For the first time,a woman won. It is amazing to see what they looked like before and what they look like now. I need to get off my butt and start exercising and start eating right and quit making excuses. I only have about 22 pounds I want to lose. These people lost close to 100 pounds or more. I admire the hard work they all did. I know it wasn't easy but they look amazing. They don't even look like the same people. Here is what the final four looked like with their partners and what they look like now.This year the show was called Biggest Loser Couples. They had brothers,married couples, friends, mother and daughter, mother and son, and even two strangers who paired up. I watched every week. It was an amazing transformation to see how they have changed. Roger, Mark, Kelly and Ali made it to the final four but there was a twist this year. America had to vote one off so it would just be three competing for the big cash prize. America voted off Mark. The final three consisted of Roger, Kelly and Ali.Ali came out the big winner and won the big cash prize and she was the first woman ever to win. Way to go girl!! You did an excellent job.

We Must Stop This Immediately !

Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper. Groceries are heavier. And, everything is farther away.Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long our street had become!

And,you know people are less considerate now,especially the young ones. They speak in whispers all the time! If you ask them to speak up they just keep repeating themselves,endlessly mouthing the same silent message until they're red in the face! What do they think I am, a lip reader?

I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age. On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am. I ran into an old friend the other day and she has aged so much that she didn't even recognize me.

I got to thinking about the poor dear while I was combing my hair this morning, and in doing so,I glanced at my own reflection. Well, REALLY NOW - even mirrors are not made the way they used to be!

Another thing, everyone drives so fast these days! You're risking life and limb if you happen to pull onto the freeway in front of them. All I can say is, their brakes must wear out awfully fast, the way I see them screech and swerve in my rear view mirror.

Clothing manufacturers are less civilized these days. Why else would they suddenly start labeling a size 10 or 12 dress as 18 or 20? Do they think no one notices? The people who make bathroom scales are pulling the same prank. Do they think I actually "believe" the number I see on that dial? HA! I would never let myself weigh that much! Just who do these people think they're fooling?

I'd like to call up someone in authority to report what's going on - but the telephone company is in on the conspiracy too: they've printed the phone books in such small type that no one could ever find a number in there!

All I can do is pass along this warning:
WE ARE UNDER ATTACK!

Unless something drastic happens, pretty soon everyone will have to suffer these awful indignities.

PLEASE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN GET THIS CONSPIRACY STOPPED!
