This is such a remarkable story. It warms my heart to see this dog and the lady who owns her and loves her very much. She could have let the dog die but she didn't, and they named her Faith. It is an amazing story!Watch and see if you don't agree.

NEW YORK, April 4, 2008

(CBS) Sometimes all you need to overcome the toughest obstacles is a little -- Faith.

Faith is a five-year-old mixed-breed dog who was given little chance of survival at birth.

But she's enriching the family that saved her and took her in: Faith has no front legs, but she walks on her hind legs.

Her owner, Jude Stringfellow, told Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez how Faith became a part of her family's world, how Faith learned to walk, and how Faith now inspires humans -- including wounded soldiers.

She is pregnant;

he had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, while he continued to fight the fire.
When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the Charlotte , North Carolina newspaper, noticed her in the distance looking at the fireman.

He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do.

As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies and kissed him just as the photographer snapped this photograph.
