I got this in an e-mail and I never knew this before.
I wonder just how many people do know about this.

~ A 36 year old female had an accident several weeks ago and totaled her car. A resident of Kilgore, Texas she was traveling between Gladewater & Kilgore. It was raining, though not excessively, when her car suddenly began to hydro-plane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence!

When she explained to the highway patrolman what had happened he told her something that every driver should know - NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON. She thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain.

But the highway patrolman told her that if the cruise control is on when your car begins to hydro-plane and your tires lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off like an airplane. She told the patrolman that was exactly what had occurred.

The patrolman said this warning should be listed, on the driver's seat sun-visor - NEVER USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE PAVEMENT IS WET OR ICY, along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed - but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the pavement is dry.

The only person the accident victim found, who knew this (besides the patrolman), was a man who had had a similar accident, totaled his car and sustained severe injuries.

NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control when the windshield wipers are on.
This is important information. Like I said, I didn't know about this.....do you?

Tired Of Being Sorry

A Smile From God!

A married couple in their early 60s was celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.
Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table saying,
"For being such an exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."
"Oh, I want to travel around the world with my darling husband."
The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! two tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her hands.
The husband' thought for a moment: "Well, this is all very romantic, but an opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."
The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.
So the fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! the husband became 92 years old.



The moral of this story:

Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember fairies are female.

I don't know if anyone saw the Larry King Show the other night or not but "Dog" was on and I saw that so I watched. I had no idea what was going on and it made me sick. I can't believe what his son did to him. They were having a private conversation on the phone over Tucker's new girlfriend who happens to be black. There is nothing wrong with that except that Tucker has just gotten out of prison and he has only known this girl for 7 months. "Dog" had heard things about this girl where she may not be the best influence on Tucker so they were arguing over it and the N word came out. Now mind you, this was supposed to be a private conversation but all the while Tucker was taping it. The "Enquirer"(the rag magazine that it is) has been out to destroy "Dog" for awhile now and they paid Tucker $15,000 to tape his dad so they could print it in their magazine. Tucker also put it on the internet for the whole world to hear. What a scumbag!! Now all of a sudden "Dog" is in big trouble and is about to lose his career over this. It makes me sick. He was no saint when he was younger. He even was in prison for 5 years but he came out of that experience and made something out of his life and he has done a lot of good for a lot of people and it makes me sick to think that his stupid son did all this for $15,000 lousy dollars. I am wondering if his new girlfriend even really cares about him. Maybe she is a plant for the "Enquirer". It wouldn't surprise me one bit. The people who work for that rag are all nothing but SCUM!!!! I know I have said the N word before out of anger and felt bad about it but it happens. Everyone, I'm sure has said things out of anger that they later regret but a person should not lose his whole career over it. Besides this was supposed to be a private conversation between he and his son, not for the whole damn world to hear. Now "Dog" is having to try to defend himself and it makes me utterly sick. I am behind him 100% and will be. I don't think he did anything all that terrible and I especially don't think he should lose everything because of it!! I think he should have his show back on A&E as well. They pulled it off which I think is ridiculous! On Larry King, they took a poll and 85% think his show should be back on the air. He has done a lot of good for people and I think his apology is sincere so I don't know why the HELL he is being raked over the coals!! One thing I don't understand and never will is that blacks use the "N" word all the time but as soon as a white person uses it, they get all bent out of shape and all the blacks are up in arms about it. Sounds ridiculous to me. I know it's not a good word and that being said, if it is a bad word, then why the Hell does it have a different meaning when a white person says it as opposed to a black person saying it? Can someone please explain that to me cuz it makes NO DAMN SENSE!! Anyway here is the video of "Dog" on the Larry King Show.
