 Ads Pay

This is reportedly one of the best singles ads ever printed. It is said to have been listed in the Atlanta Journal.

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping, fishing trips, and cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy. I'll be waiting.

 Golf

Stevie Wonder and Tiger Woods are in a restaurant having dinner. Woods turns to Wonder and says,"How's the singing career going? "Stevie Wonder replies, "Not too bad. How's the golf?" Woods replies, "Not too bad. I've had some problems with my swing, but I think I've got that going right now."

Stevie says, "I always find that when my swing goes wrong, I need to stop playing for a while and not think about it. Then, the next time I play, it seems to be all right."

Tiger says, "You play golf?"

Wonder says, "Oh, yes, I've been playing for years."

Woods says, "But you're blind! How can you play golf if you can't see?"

Wonder replies, "I get my caddy to stand in the middle of the fairway and call to me. I listen for the sound of his voice and play the ball toward him.

Then, when I get to where the ball lands, the caddy moves to the green or farther down the fairway and again I play the ball toward his voice."

Woods asks, "What's your handicap?"

Stevie says, "Well, I'm a scratch golfer."

Woods, incredulous, says to Stevie, "We've got to play a round sometime." Wonder replies, "Well, people don't take me seriously, so I only play for money, and never play for less than $10,000 a hole."

Woods thinks about it and says, "OK, I'm up for that. When would you like to play?"

Stevie says, "Pick a night."

 Globalization, as I understand it. . . . . .

(I received this in an e-mail and wanted to share with you guys. I think it's pretty good!)

Question: What is the truest definition of Globalization?

Answer: Princess Diana's death.

Question: How come?

Answer:An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgianwho was drunk on Scottish whisky, followed closely by
Italian Paparazzi,on Japanese motorcycles;treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines.

This is sent to you by a Canadian, using Bill Gates's technology, and you're probably reading this on your computer, that uses Taiwanese chips, and a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian lorry-drivers,hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexican illegals.....

That, my friends, is Globalization.

I saw on the news last night where Tammy Faye Messner lost her battle with cancer yesterday. She was just on Larry King Thursday and looked so frail. She weighed only 65 pounds. It's very sad but I am sure she is in heaven with the Lord!

 My Saturday Song

I may not be around tonight so here is my song. It is from Pink. I think it is a good song. It is about many of the young women in Hollywood who are out of control with their drug use and booze and other excess behavior. These are women that a lot of young girls look up too. They are very BAD role models and that is what this song is about.

Tammy Faye Messner on Larry King

I happened to tune into Larry King last night and saw Tammy Baker Messner on there and I was totally shocked. She weighs only 65 lbs. She is dying from lung cancer. It has spread to her spine as well. Her son was on there too. I feel so sorry for her but she has a very good outlook and has a very strong love and belief in the Lord. Here is part of the interview with Larry. So sad!!

LoyalKK asked if I would post this message for her from a friend of hers.

From Derek Hilland:

"I will be getting my hair cut and donating it to http://www.locksoflove.org/donate.html (locks for love) the week of July 30th-August 4th and am asking all Rick Springfield fans out there who have some extra hair to join me! They make wigs for women and kids going through cancer treatment. So, I was wondering if you guys could put something on your site or sites, about it to get more people to do it. I'll send an after pix when I'm done. Thank you! Derek"
