I have found a show on TLC(The Learning Channel) that I really, really like a lot! It is about a family named the Roloff's. The father is Matt, the mother is Amy, the twins,Jeremy and Zach,daughter Molly and little brother Jacob.

Both Matt and Amy have parents who are regular sized people. Amy and Matt met at a Little People's Conference when they were young, fell in love and got married. They had four children. People don't believe them when they say Jeremy and Zach are twins because Jeremy is regular size and Zach is a little person. The Roloff's live on a big farm in Oregon. They grow pumpkins and around Halloween time they sell a lot of pumpkins. In fact people are lined up on the highway to get to the farm. I really like this show cuz it's all about their life and raising their kids. They are little people but it doesn't stop them from doing things. They do anything a regular sized person does and as Amy says, "We just do it a little differently." You just really fall in love with this family, or at least I did. They are so genuine. It's really a great show and I suggest you watch it sometime. Their last show of the season will be next Monday night,9:00,8:00 Central Time. I'm sure they'll have re-runs till the new season starts in the Fall.This is a really great show!! I hope you watch it sometime. Have a great day everyone and stay cool! Been really hot here.

A carpet layer had just finished installing carpet for a lady. He stepped out for a smoke, only to realize he'd lost his cigarettes.

In the middle of the room, under the carpet, was a bump.

''No sense pulling up the entire floor for one pack of smokes,'' he said to himself. He proceeded to get out his hammer and flattened the hump.

As he was cleaning up, the lady came in. ''Here,'' she said, handling him his pack of cigarettes. ''I found them in the hallway.''

''Now,'' she said, ''if only I could find my parakeet.''

A minister decided that a visual demonstration
would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon.

Four worms were placed into four separate jars.

The first worm was put
into a container of alcohol.
The second worm was put
into a container of cigarette smoke.
The third worm was put into
a container of chocolate syrup.
The fourth worm was put into
a container of good clean soil.

At the conclusion of the sermon,
the Minister reported the following results:

The first worm in alcohol -
Dead.

The second worm in cigarette smoke .
Dead .

Third worm in chocolate syrup -
Dead .

Fourth worm in good clean soil -
Alive.

So the Minister asked the congregation -

What can you learn from this demonstration?

Maxine was setting in the back,
quickly raised her hand and said,



"As long as you drink,
smoke and eat chocolate,
you won't have worms!"
