 New Salesman

A young man from Minnesota moves to Florida and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job.
The manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?"
"Yeah, I was a salesman back in Minnesota", the kid answers.
Well, the boss liked the kid and gave him a job. "You start tomorrow.
I'll come down after we close and see how you did."
His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it. After the
store was locked up, the boss came down. "How many customers bought
something from you today?" The kid says, "One." "Just one? Our sales people average twenty to thirty customers a day. How much was the sale for?" The kid says, "$101,237.65".
The boss responds, "$101, 237.65 ?! What the heck did you sell?"
The kid answers, "First I sold him a small fishhook. Then I sold him a medium hook. Then I sold him a larger fishhook. Then I sold him a new fishing rod. I asked him where he was going fishin' and he said 'down the coast', so I told him he was going to need a new boat. So we went down to the boat department and I sold him a twin engine Chris Craft.. Then he said he didn't think his Honda Civic would pull the boat, so I took him down to the automotive department and sold him that 4x4 Expedition."
The boss said, "So, the guy comes in here to buy a fishhook, and you
sold him a BOAT and a TRUCK ?! "
The kid said, "No, the guy came in here to buy Tampons for his wife and I said 'Dude, your weekend's shot... you should go fishing.' "

 Prayers For The Tornado Victims

Here is a story I found of the tornado that hit Greensburg, Ks. Friday. We need to pray for those who lost their homes or businesses or even family members. Tornadoes are common place here in Kansas as with many other states but the devastation is sad nonetheless!

GREENSBURG, Kan. (AP) - Two more bodies have been recovered in Greensburg, authorities said Monday, raising to 10 the number of dead from Friday's powerful tornado that obliterated the tiny southwest Kansas town.

The massive tornado, an F-5 with wind estimated at 205 mph, was part of a weekend of violent storms across the Plains that killed at least 12 people, including 10 in Greensburg.

Little remained standing in the town of 1,500 residents but the grain elevator. The tornado demolished every business on the main street. Churches lost their steeples, trees were stripped of their branches and neighborhoods were flattened. Officials estimate as much as 95 percent of the town was destroyed.

One of the latest two victims was found under structural rubble in the middle of town, city administrator Steve Hewitt said. The other body was pulled from a lake.
Here are some pictures.

Can You Figure This One Out?

You are driving a car at a constant speed. On your right side is a drop off and on your left side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you.

In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it.

Behind you is a helicoptor flying at ground level.

Both the giant pig and the helicoptor are also traveling at the same speed as you. What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?
